Registration and laminating section

Details

• Floor mounted section.
• Computer controlled pneumatic system for the positioning of both lea- ding edges of the printed sheets.
• Special light introduction wheel system, with computer-controlled servo-drive, to regulate speed of acceleration and deceleration, joining the leading edge of printed sheet and the leading edge of the single-faced web at line speed.
• More or less overlapping as chosen in the job program and adaptable at any time even when running machine. Wheel lifting activated by pneumatic actuators.
• A gauging roll ensures proper adhesion and maintains registration between the pre printed sheet and the recently formed single face sheet. It will lift automatically in case of a missed sheet to avoid glue to be deposited on it.
• Short bonding belt at machine speed establishing a correct contact between both sheets before entering in the final compression section.

Compression belt sheet to sheet and drying belt

Details

• The laminated sheets are pressed individually between two belts, granting an uniform bond. Thereafter they enter the belt press.
• The drying belt consists of an upper and lower conveyor belt, which cover the entire working width. The shingling distance is variable. The upper belt can be adjusted for different format.

Automatic non-stop stacker with inverter

Details

• To collect a pre-selected number of laminated sheets and stack them automatically, whether alternatively inverted or not, into a straight finished stack.
• This group is completely independent of the main machine.

The machine executes the following working sequence:

1. Collection of sheets coming from the drying conveyor, which is practically not inclined, and placing them in a handful.
2. When the package has reached 20-30 sheets (adjustable), this handful is transported towards the turnover section horizontally.
3. In the turnover section, it is turned and dropped into the stacking unit.
4. Finally, the handful is introduced into the final stack.
5. The stacker is equipped with a non-stop device.
6. Once the pallet of the stack has been completed, it will automatically leave on rollers to the client's conveyor.

Single facer unit with cassettes
